FTP: File Transfer Protocol
sfis knows your time is your most valuable asset. By using our FTP service, you can send us your files for imaging or printing right from your desktop. Unlike email, there is no file size limitation. Save the time it takes to burn your images on to CD and use expensive messenger service to send sfis your files.
To upload file to us, you will need a dedicated FTP program. For the Apple platform the preferred program for FTP are Fetch 4.0 (http://fetchsoftworks.com/) and for Windows 95/98/2000/XP platform, Core FTP Lite 1.3 (www.download.com) is the preferred program. If you need any help setting up your FTP program, just contact us.
Use thse settings in your FTP program:
Host: sfis2.onemoremile.com
Username: sfis2
Password: sfis2files
Note: This is not a secure server and although highly unlikely, other people would be able to view your files. If you would like a secure FTP folder, call us and we will gladly set it up for you. All we need from you is a username and password.
Firewall issues: Some types of firewalls and protection software will prevent you from uploading to our FTP server. If this is an issue, contact your IS department or contact us for other ways of sending us your files.
When FTPing your files to sfis, you must, repeat, must let us know you are sending in an order. You can call us (415-957-1369), fax us (415-391-1517), or email us (slides@sfimaging.com). Anyway you want to do it it is fine with us, but let us know.
